The honest answer to 'which country is best?' is: it depends. The right destination balances what you can afford, the grades and language you bring, and what you want to do afterwards.

Best for affordability

If budget is your main constraint, look first at Turkey, Malaysia, Germany (low public-university tuition), Morocco and Tunisia. These can dramatically lower total cost while still offering recognised degrees.

Best for Francophone students

Best for prestige (if funded)

The UK and USA offer globally recognised degrees and, in the USA, real scholarship potential for outstanding students. Both are high-cost, and the US visa is interview-based — strong funding and genuine intent matter.

Best close to home

South Africa, Mauritius, Morocco and Tunisia keep travel costs and culture shock lower while still offering recognised, often English- or French-taught degrees.
